Sauce :
2 large cans crushed tomatoes
2 small cans tomato sauce
2 small cans tomato paste
1 medium onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion power
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
Ziti :
2 lbs. ziti
15 oz pkgs of ricotta cheese, skim or whole
2 cups shredded swiss cheese
2 cups parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded provolone
2 cups crumbled bleu cheese
Instructions :
- Make sauce first. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 hour or until ready to use.
- In large bowl combine all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Add in half the sauce and mix well
- When ziti is cooked drain very well and add in to sauce and cheese mixture. Mix well
- In 1 or 2 baking dishes pour in ziti mixture and you may want to add some sauce to the top and garnish with sauce and parsley.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Let set in oven for 15 more minutes and serve
- Serve with salad and bread
